American Shakespeare Center Co-founder and Director of Mission, and Mary Baldwin College Professor Dr. Ralph Alan Cohen delivers a special lecture on William Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice. "On The Merchant of Venice and Being Jewish" addresses three questions: Was Shakespeare anti-Semitic? Is the play anti-Semetic? Should Jews oppose the production of The Merchant of Venice?
